Our reasons for becoming financial professionals are deeply personal. We repeatedly saw many friends and family struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. We are confident that with our understanding of personal finance, coupled with our training as financial professionals, we can help people better prepare for the future. Sean Becker began participating in the investment world shortly after attending what is now named Binghamton University, and has not regretted that decision since.  He went on to gain experience in real estate, finance, and financial planning.

Reading is one of his pleasures, and he uses that to both stay up to date with subscriptions to many magazines and newspapers, as well as learning about past economic cycles.  He has amassed quite a library of biographies on topics from history, monetary policy, and legendary investors, including Warren Buffet, the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway.

An active member of several community organizations, Sean enjoys participating in events that help others.  He volunteers his time for projects that bring dictionaries to third grade students, assisting in a holiday meal event for local senior citizens, and helping today’s students learn more about leadership.

Sean enjoys the business philosophy at Horan Wealth Services.  The relationship starts out by asking questions of the client. There is no “one size fits all” regarding financial planning, and that is why we ask many questions.  Some investors prefer to seek income, others growth portfolio’s, and other a combination of both.

He believes that without an understanding of the client’s goals and desires, an appropriate solution cannot be reached.  That is one of the major reasons Horan Wealth Services remains independent, so that the goal of satisfying the clients objectives cannot be clouded by company affiliations.
